Antarctica poem From:Curtis

Antarctica poem 1.
it smells like polar bear.
it feels cold.
it tastes like water and ice.
it looks like snow.
Antarctica poem 2.
it sounds like polar bears growling
penguins running around and
rolling around
so much fun.
Antarctica poem 3.
so icy
so cold
so much fun
so very quiet.

Today we have been making three poems. WALT: make poems. it was challenging because I didn't know much about antarctica

Fortnite poem

Fortnite
Fortnite
is a cool game.
You shoot people and drop loot.
I feel great cause fortnite is fun.
Yay fun! :)

Fortnite is a shooting game, it is free on a plastation4  and xbox1. it is not a violent game cause they only drop loot and does not have guts and blood so it is better than people think.WALT: write a poem. We made a poem and it was a challenge because you had to think about what you were gonna write about.

WALT: use onomatopoeia

1. My dog growls as
person walks by

2. There was an
explosion and
it was nearby
I heard it go BOOM!
as it blew up

Today we have been learning how to use onomatopeia and make our own poems.
Onomatopeia are words that make sounds.
