Welcome to the teaser week for the Summer Learning Journey. My name is Allie and I met you last week when I came to Paroa School to sign you up for the programme. It is great to see that you have made a really positive start to the teaser week activities. I like the colour that you have used on your presentation. If you read the information that is on the activity it will give a little bit more information about Lorde. I know that when she was at primary school that she really loved to read. I bet she would be still able to remember a lot of the children's books that she read. Do you like to read? Do you have a favourite book? I love to read and my favourite book if 'The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane' This is a great book. You should go and see if it in your school library! As a kid the one book that I remember reading was 'The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe' by CS Lewis. Have you read that one, or seen the movie? I recommend it if you haven't.
